What counts as a case?
Each medical record upload constitutes one case. A case includes the full processing pipeline: text extraction, PII sanitisation, medical timeline extraction, seven parallel protocol compliance analyses, findings generation, and access to the AI case chat.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, with prorated charges and credits applied automatically via Stripe.
What happens if I exceed my case limit?
You can purchase add-on cases without changing your plan. Contact our team for add-on pricing. Add-on cases do not expire — they carry over until used.

What file formats and sizes are supported?
MedCase accepts PDF documents, including scanned and handwritten documents. The system automatically detects whether pages need OCR and applies it where needed. You can also force OCR on all pages for PDFs with unreliable embedded text.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest with per-record nonces and tamper detection. A triple-layer PII sanitisation system removes all patient-identifiable information before any AI processing. We are fully GDPR compliant with comprehensive audit logging.
